Illinois lawmakers are being urged to “Be A Star” for nursing home residents. The Health Care Council of Illinois is traveling the state with nursing home residents and staff to get lawmakers to restore dental, vision and podiatry care to Medicaid coverage. “We started the tour in the southern part of the state and we’re working our way towards Chicago,” Comstock said.
